Sponsored by Amway Hong Kong Limited, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, and organised by the Hong Kong Organic Resource Centre (ORC) of HKBU, the Organic Green Health Run 2017 was held with great success, attracting 2,500 participants including citizens and students of 30 schools.

The event was officiated by Mr. Wong Kam Sing, GBS, JP, Secretary for the Environment; Mrs. Sophie Leung, GBS, JP, Chairman of the Governing Board of ORC; Mrs. Louisa Chan, General Manager of Amway Hong Kong Limited; Mr. Ho Hau Cheung, SBS, MH, Chairman of the Sha Tin District Council; Dr. the Hon. Elizabeth Quat, BBS, JP, Legislative Councillor; Professor Rick Wong, Vice-President (Research & Development) of HKBU and Professor Jonathan Wong, Director of the ORC.

Now in its 13th year, this annual event featured numerous activities including the Organ Green Health Run as well as a green carnival, which aimed to promote a low-carbon green lifestyle.
