8 Inspiring creativity and artistic excellence Art-tech initiatives continue to feature heavily in what we do. The pioneering project, “Future Cinema Systems: Next-Generation Art Technologies”, has been awarded HK$35.4 million in funding from the Innovation and Technology Commission of the HKSAR Government. The funding supported the establishment of the Visualisation Research Centre which is home to the world’s first 360-degree immersive LED Visualisation Cinema and the 180-degree iDome Cinema. Leveraging the latest AI-models, the future cinema systems created innovative and immersive platforms for theatre, dance, music, education, and sports, and transformed multimedia archives into post-cinematic encounters that people can explore and experience. 激發創意　追求藝術卓越 藝術科技項目繼續在我們的工作中佔重要 位置。名為「未來影院系統：下一代藝術科 技」的前瞻性藝術科技項目，獲特區政府創 新科技署撥款港幣 3,540 萬元資助。這項資 助支援視覺化研究中心的設立，打造全球首 個沉浸式「 360 度 LED 視覺化影院」與「 180 度 iDome 影院」。未來影院系統將利用最新 的人工智能模型，為戲劇、舞蹈、音樂、教 育與體育建立沉浸式體驗的嶄新平台，並將 多媒體檔案轉化為後電影體驗，讓人進一步 探索與欣賞。 The University’s Annual Gala Concerts in 2022 and 2023 were other impressive showcases of the seamless fusion of art and technology. These signature events deployed cutting edge AI technologies to create the first human-machine collaborative performance of its kind in the world, and restored an old silent film in a stunning performance together with the HKBU Symphony Orchestra. The establishment of the Turing AI Orchestra also paved the way for more art co-creation by humans and AI. 大學於 2022 年和 2023 年舉行的周年音樂 會，也呈現了藝術與科技可以如何無縫融 合。我們在這個年度盛會運用尖端人工智能 技術，聯同浸大交響樂團創造全球首個人機 共創共演的同類表演，並將默劇電影復修， 轉化成引人入勝的藝術表演。圖靈人工智能 交響樂團的成立，亦為更多人機共創的藝術 作品創造條件。
