20 Quality Teaching and Learning 優質教與學 A report by the University Grants Committee’s Quality Assurance Council accorded recognition to HKBU’s good practices in a wide range of its teaching and learning operations. The commended measures included a strong commitment tosetting theacademic standardsof University awards; the professional development of its academic staff and investment in innovative virtual teaching and learning initiatives; a strategic deployment of authentic assessment; setting the graduation requirements of the University Life Programme; the establishment of career networking by connecting internal and external stakeholders; and the “inclusive admissions for diversity” approach. 大學教育資助委員會轄下質素保證局發表報告，肯定浸大 在教與學上的「良好實踐做法」：就其頒授的資格訂立學術 標準；為學術人員提供專業發展機會、投資創新的虛擬教 學；有策略地推行「真實評估」；把大學生活課程列作畢業 要求；連結校內外持份者以建立就業網絡；以及採取「多元 共融招生政策」。 To provide comprehensive support for Hong Kong athletes, HKBU launched the Elite Athletes Admission Scheme, theTalentedAthletesDirectAdmissionSchemeand the Students with Exceptional Talent Direct Admissions Scheme. Flexible study arrangements are provided to help athletes pursue both sport and higher education. Eight elite athletes have been enrolled for the 2023-2024 academic year. 為向香港運動員提供全方位支持，浸大先後設立「精英運動 員入學計劃」、「優才運動員入學計劃」及「多元才能直接錄 取計劃」，為出色運動員提供彈性學習安排，讓他們能在運 動和學業雙向發展。浸大在 2023-2024 學年共取錄了八名  精英運動員。 HKBU works closely with a variety of sectors to bolster its teaching and research environments. The University met with government authorities, research institutions and enterprises in Shenzhen and Guangzhou to explore collaboration opportunities and to conclude related agreements. It also joined with Google Hong Kong to enrich students’ transdisciplinary problem-solving skills via information technology. Furthermore, it signed MOUs with the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong, the UMP Healthcare Group and the Civil Aid Service to foster research and nurture future leaders. 浸大與各界緊密聯繫，提升教研環境，例如訪問深穗政府部 門、科研機構和企業單位，商談合作並簽訂相關協議；與 Google 香港合作，以資訊科技培養學生的跨學科解難和分 析能力；並先後與香港中華廠商聯合會、聯合醫務集團、民 眾安全服務隊簽訂備忘錄，協作研究及培育未來領袖。 HKBU’s School of Business co-organised the 10th Biennial International Association for Chinese Management Research Conference, the largest of its kind in Asia. Themed “Globalisation in Flux: China and theWorld”, the Conference gathered nearly 2,000 scholars and experts from worldwide to exchange views on the changes in Chinese management and organisations amidst globalisation. HKBU scholars were active participants in almost 100 keynote panels, symposiums, paper presentations and roundtables. 浸大工商管理學院協辦亞洲最大的內地管理研究研討會─ 第十屆中國管理研究國際學會會議，主題為「動盪中的全球 化：中國與世界」，全球近 2,000 名學者及專家就中國管理 和組織的持續變革交流意見。會議期間舉辦了近百場主題  演講、座談會、論文報告及圓桌會議，而浸大學者亦積極  參與其中。
