13 Impact of Giving 捐獻的力量 The Global University Film Awards (GUFA) creates a global platform to showcase talents, exchange ideas and foster networks among film students from around the world. In 2020, a total of 2,503 submissions were received from 104 countries and regions, enabling us to witness the impressive story-telling techniques and great potential in these future film makers. Thanks to the great support of the Simon Suen Foundation and other sponsors, young talents across the globe can now shine on this special stage.  「全球大學電影獎」創造了一個國際平台，讓世 界各地的電影學生展示才華、交流意念和建立  網絡。今屆共有 2,503 份參賽作品來自 104 個國家或 地區，讓我們看到一眾才華洋溢的年輕電影人出 色的敘事技巧和優厚潛質。感謝孫少文基金會及 其他贊助者的鼎力支持，令世界各地熱愛電影的 年輕人都可在這個平台上發熱發亮。 After recovering from a serious illness, I realise that although there were sacrifices and losses during the process, I received a precious gift – music. Music brought me peace during my suffering. It also helped me find my destiny – which is to sow the seed of music in everyone’s heart. Thanks to the donor’s support, I can now study music.
