19 University’s Recent Developments 大學最新發展 To enable elite athletes to strike a balance between their university studies and sporting commitments, HKBU not only launched the HKBU Elite Athletes Admission Scheme but also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Hong Kong Sports Institute. The MOU grants the athletes an extension of their graduation timeline to accommodate their training and competition schedules, and provides them with individual mentoring support, academic advice as well as career planning. 為協助精英運動員兼顧學業及全職運動員訓練，浸大不但設立精 英運動員入學獎學金，更與香港體育學院簽署了《精英運動員學習 計劃備忘錄》，讓運動員可因應其訓練及比賽需要延長修讀年期； 浸大亦會為每名運動員安排導師，就學業和事業規劃提供意見和 支援。 The Department of Education teamed up with Caritas Hong Kong Family Service to launch the “Weave a Dream Project Pilot Scheme” to provide career development education and service learning experiences for senior secondary students. They turned the craftsmen’s stories into ten short films, which have struck a chord with the public and aroused people’s awareness of preserving traditional crafts. 一群傳理學院的學生與社企「傳耆」合作，尋訪散落城市角落的本 土工匠，例如從事鑿字或製造霓虹燈的匠人，再把他們的故事與 手藝拍成十齣短片。短片上載至互聯網後引起廣泛迴響，喚醒了 人們保留傳統工藝的意識。 The HKBU Chinese Medicine Specialty Clinic (North Point), the 16 th clinic operating under the School of Chinese Medicine, has opened. The new clinic not only serves as a good teaching base for practicum and internships for clinical and pharmacy study, but also provides a broad spectrum of modernised, quality general consultation services and Chinese medicine specialty services for the community. 中醫藥學院轄下的第 16 間中醫藥診所「香港浸會大學北角中醫 專科診所」投入服務。診所不僅為大學提供了一個臨床和配藥 的實習及見習教學基地，培育優秀人才，更為市民提供現代 化及優質的中醫全科和專科服務。 Community Engagement 社會服務
