The Hong Kong Kowloon City Industry and Commerce Association hosted a gala dinner on 9 April 2019 to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China and the Association’s 8th Term Inauguration Ceremony. Mr. Chris Chan and Mr. Cheung Chi Chung, respective President and Chairman of the Association, invited a number of guests to attend the dinner. They included Ir Dr. K.K. Wong, GBS, JP, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation; Ms. Eileen L. Tsui, JP, and Dr. Leung Lun, BBS, MH, Members of the Entrepreneur Committee; Mr. Ivan Wong and Mr. Kenneth Leung, Co-Chairman and Member respectively of the Young Entrepreneur Committee; and Mr. Li Fung Cheung, Chairman of the Executive Council of the Kowloon Chamber of Commerce, Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, attended the dinner on behalf of the University.
