The Hong Kong Shine Tak Foundation hosted its 3rd Inauguration Ceremony of its Board of Directors at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on 25 March 2019. A number of members of the Court and the HKBU Foundation were elected as board members. Mr. Henry Tong, MH, JP, Honorary Court Member of HKBU, was elected as Executive Vice Chairman. Mrs. Susan So, BBS, Member of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, was elected as Honorary Permanent President; Mr. Hung Kwong Yee and Mr. Lam Cheung Chuen, Members of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, were elected as Vice Chairman and Consultant respectively; Mr. Gabi Lam, Member of the Young Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, was elected as Director.

Mrs. Christy Tung, JP, Chairlady of the Foundation, invited hundreds of dignitaries and honourable guests including The Hon. Matthew Cheung, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration; The Hon. Andrew Leung, GBS, JP, President of the Legislative Council; The Hon. Kevin Yeung, JP, Secretary for Education; Mrs. Mary Suen and Ms. Jenny Wong, Honorary Permanent President and Director respectively of the HKBU Foundation; and Mr. Andrew Hung, Member of the Young Entrepreneur Committee. Mr. Yeung Chee Kong, Associate Vice-President (Engagement) and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, attended the ceremony on behalf of the University.
