Pok Oi Hospital hosted its Inauguration Ceremony of the 70th Board of Directors (2019-2020) at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 2 April 2019. Officiating guests included The Hon. Mrs. Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet Ngor, GBM, GBS, Chief Executive of the HKSAR; Dr. Yu Wenming, Commissioner of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine; and Mr. He Jing, Deputy Director of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR. Mr. Lee Yuk Fat, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, was elected as the Permanent Advisor of the Board of Directors of Pok Oi Hospital, while Ms. Linda Lam Kwan, Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation, was elected as the 3rd Vice Chairman.

A number of HKBU Foundation members joined the ceremony. They included Mrs. Susan So, BBS, and Mrs. Mary Suen. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, attended the ceremony on behalf of the University.
