Mr. Philip Tsai, BBS, JP, Member of the Alumni Committee of the HKBU Foundation, was recently appointed by the HKSAR Government as Non-official Member of the Hospital Authority, while Mr. David Fong, BBS, JP, donor of the University, was re-appointed as Non-official Member of the Authority for a term of two years with effect from 1 April 2019.

Meanwhile, Mr. Tsai was also appointed by the HKSAR Government as Member of the Independent Commission on Remuneration for Members of the Executive Council and the Legislature, and Officials under the Political Appointment System of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region for a period of three years with effect from 1 April 2019.

Mr. Tsai is currently Chairman of Deloitte China, while Mr. Fong is currently Managing Director of Hip Shing Hong (Holdings) Company Limited.
