HKBU Foundation members and donors meet with students at the HKBU Employers' Luncheon 2019

The University hosted its annual Employers’ Luncheon on 24 January 2019, providing a valuable opportunity for graduating students to meet with potential employers while strengthening ties between the University and leaders of the community. A number of members of the Board of Governors and members of the HKBU Foundation attended the luncheon. They included Mr. Brandon Liu, JP; Professor William Leung, SBS, JP; Mr. So Wing Kin; Mr. Ivan Wong; Mr. Alex Leung; Professor James Tsien; Mr. Wong Nga Chung; Ms. Fanny Wong; Dr. Rafael Aharoni, BBS; Dr. Wong Kam Shing; Mr. Bernard Wu; and Dr. Liu Hong Fai, JP. Around 600 guests joined the event to meet up with 200 students.

The guests were warmly received by HKBU representatives including Dr. Clement Chen, SBS, JP, and Mr. Andrew Yao, BBS, JP, Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Council and the Court; Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning); Dr. Andy Lee, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; Professor Ricky Wong, Associate Vice-President (Teaching and Learning) cum Academic Registrar; Mr. Yeung Chee Kong, Associate Vice-President (Engagement); Professor Gordon Tang, Director of Student Affairs; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation.
