To celebrate the 69th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China and the 40th Anniversary of China’s reform and opening up, the Tsim Sha Tsui District KaiFong Welfare Association, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, hosted a dinner reception at its hall on 26 September 2018. Officiating guests of the opening ceremony included Mr. So Chung Ping, MH, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association; Mr. Lam Cho Kwong, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Association; Mr. Yiu Yu Hung, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee; Ms. Wang Xiaoling, Deputy Director General of the Kowloon Sub-office of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR; and Dr. Yu Kwok Chun, GBS, JP, Chairman and Managing Director of Yue Hwa Chinese Products Emporium Limited, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation. The reception was well attended by hundreds of guests.
