The Tsim Sha Tsui District KaiFong Welfare Association, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, hosted a dinner reception to celebrate the Lunar New Year at its hall on 2 March 2018. Officiating guests of the opening ceremony included Mr. So Chung Ping, MH, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association; Mr. Lam Cho Kwong, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Association; Mr. Yiu Yu Hung, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee; and Ms. Wang Xiaoling, Deputy Director General of the Kowloon Sub-office of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR. The reception was well attended by over 700 guests. Mrs. Lily Chan, Member of the Executive and Supervisory Committees of the Association, and Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, officiate at the ceremony on behalf of the University.
