Three members of the HKBU Foundation and a donor of the University were recently appointed as Board Members of the Hong Kong Palace Museum Limited by the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority. Dr. the Hon. Bernard Charnwut Chan, GBS, JP, President of the Asia Financial Group, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation, was appointed as Chairman of the Board, while Professor Joseph Ting Sun Pao, Director of the HKBU Foundation; Professor Raymond Fung Wing Kee, JP, Sponsoring Member of the HKBU Foundation; and Professor Kan Tai Keung, SBS, donor of the University, were appointed as Members of the Board. Their appointments took effect from 1 March 2018 to 31 December 2019. Dr. Chan is currently Convenor of the Executive Council of HKSAR; Professor Ting is currently Adjunct Professor of the Department of History of The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Professor Fung is currently Adjunct Associate Professor at the School of Architecture of The Chinese University of Hong Kong; while Professor Kan is currently Museum Expert Advisor for the Hong Kong Museum of Art.
