In celebration of Chinese New Year, the Federation of Hong Kong Chiu Chow Community Organizations hosted a spring cocktail reception on 26 February 2018. Dr. Ian Chan, MH, Chairman of the Federation, as well as 300 honourable guests including Professor Sophia Chan, JP, Secretary for Food and Health; Mr. Kevin Yeung, JP, Secretary for Education; Dr. Dennis Ng, BBS, MH, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation; and Dr. Ma Kai Cheung, SBS, Honorary President of the Foundation, officiated the ceremony. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, attended the reception on behalf of the University.
