The Tsim Sha Tsui District KaiFong Welfare Association, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, hosted a dinner reception to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to China and Elderly Festival at its hall on 17 November 2017. Mr. So Chung Ping, MH, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association invited a number of guests including Mr. Lu Ning, Deputy Director General of the Kowloon Sub-office of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR; and Ir Prof. K.K. Wong, GBS, JP, Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation. Mrs. Lily Chan, Member of the Executive and Supervisory Committees of the Association, and Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, attended the dinner on behalf of the University and officiated at the ceremony.
