The HKBU Foundation records with deepest sorrow the passing of Dr. Vivienne Luk, Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation, on 29 October 2017.

Dr. Luk was the former Head of the Department of Management and Director of the Wing Lung Bank International Institute of Business Development of the School of Business of HKBU. During her 42 years of dedicated service, Dr. Luk was a key contributor to the development of the School of Business and demonstrated a strong commitment to internationalisation, community engagement and student development. Dr. Luk was awarded the President’s Award for Outstanding Performance in Service in 2003, in recognition of her tireless contributions to the University. In addition, she had made generous donations in support of the advancement of the University and for the establishment of the Alumna Dr. Vivienne Luk Scholarship for Business Students.

The Foundation conveys its deepest condolences to the Luk family at this time of bereavement. Dr. Luk will always be fondly remembered for her valuable contributions to the University.
