Mr. Victor Cheng, Chairman of C.P. Group Charitable Foundation, and Mrs. Lucky Cheng visited the University on 30 August 2017. They were warmly received by Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, Associate Vice-President (Chinese Medicine Development) and Director of the Clinical Division of the School of Chinese Medicine; Dr. Daniel Lau, Associate Professor of the Academy of Visual Arts; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation.
During the visit, Mr. and Mrs. Cheng toured around the campus facilities on Baptist University Road Campus. They were showcased the featured facilities and competitive edges of the School of Chinese Medicine, the Academy of Film, as well as the Academy of Visual Arts.
Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, hosted a lunch for the guests at his residence Shiu Pong Hall after the visit. They were joined by Dr. Simon Suen, BBS, JP, Chairman of SML Group, and Mrs. Mary Suen, and Mr. C.K. Yeung, Associate Vice-President (Engagement). Professor Chin expressed his sincere wish to collaborate closely with the guests in nurturing young talents for the benefit of the community.
