Mr. Wade Lam, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Grand Tech Group Limited, together with his colleagues Mr. Liu Fei and Mr. Wang Neng Xiang, Senior Manager and Manager respectively of the Research and Development Centre of its Group, visited the University on 14 August 2017.  The guests were warmly received by Mr. Kalen Lee, Assistant Professor of Visual Arts, and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation.

During the visit, the guests toured around the campus facilities on Baptist University Road Campus. They were showcased the featured facilities and competitive edges of the Academy of Film, the Academy of Visual Arts as well as the School of Chinese Medicine.

Professor Roland T. Chin, President and Vice-Chancellor, hosted a lunch for the guests at his residence Shiu Pong Hall after the visit. They were joined by Mr. C.K. Yeung, Associate Vice-President (Engagement) and Professor Cheung Yiu Ming of the Department of Computer Science. Professor Chin expressed his sincere wish to collaborate closely with Chairman Lam in nurturing young talents who will become worthy citizens to the world.
