Tsim Sha Tsui District KaiFong Welfare Association celebrates its 64th Anniversary and hosts its 26th Inauguration Ceremony of the Executive and Supervisory Committees
The Tsim Sha Tsui District KaiFong Welfare Association, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, celebrated its 64th anniversary and hosted its 26th Inauguration Ceremony of the Executive and Supervisory Committees at its hall on 27 July 2017. The ceremony was well attended by over 300 guests including The Hon. Matthew Cheung, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR; Mr. So Chung Ping, MH, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association; Mr. Lam Cho Kwong, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Association; Dr. the Hon. Stephen Tai, GBM, GBS, JP, Standing Committee Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and President of Friends of Hong Kong Association; Mr. Liu Guoqiang, Deputy Director General of the Kowloon Sub-office of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR; The Hon. Tommy Cheung, GBS, SBS, JP, Member of the Legislative Council; and Mr. Chris Ip, Chairman of the Yau Tsim Mong District Council. Mrs. Lily Chan, Member of the Executive and Supervisory Committees of the Association, and Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation; Mr. Lam Long Chau, Director of Estates and Miss Vicky Keng, Administrative Officer of the Clinical Division, School of Chinese Medicine attended the ceremony on behalf of the University.
