The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce (CGCC), Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, held a kick-off ceremony for its Intern Exchange Programme for Tertiary Students 2017 (the Programme) on 4 May 2017.  The Chamber allocated a fund of HK$1.5 million for the Programme in sponsoring over 350 students from 7 local tertiary institutions for internships and exchange programmes on the Mainland. The Programme aims at broadening students’ horizons and enhancing their understanding about the Mainland. Some of the beneficiaries are HKBU students.

Several members of the Board of Governors and members of the Foundation attended the ceremony. They were Ir Professor K.K. Wong, GBS, JP; Ms. Connie W.C. Wong, SBS, JP; Mr. Tommy Li, BBS, MH, JP; Mr. Ivan Wong and Mr. Alfred Lee, MH.
