Dr. Wilfred Wong, GBS, JP, Chairman of Board of Governors of the HKBU Foundation, and Professor Cheuk Pak Tong, donor of the University, were re-appointed as Vice-Chairman and Member respectively of the Hong Kong Film Development Council for a two-year term with effect from 1 April 2017. Dr. Wong is currently President and Chief Operating Officer of Sands China Limited, while Professor Cheuk is currently Director of Macau Academy of Cinematic Arts of Macau University of Science and Technology.
