The Chinese General Chamber of Commerce, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, organised a spring cocktail reception at Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on 8 February 2017. Over 600 guests were in attendance included some members of the Board of Governors and members of the Foundation. They were Ir Dr. K.K. Wong, GBS, JP; Mr. Brandon Liu, JP; Ms. Connie Wong Wai Ching, SBS, JP; Dr. Robin Chan Yau Hing, GBS, JP; and Mr. Tommy Li, BBS, MH, JP.
