Dr. Li Dak Sum, GBM, JP, donor of HKBU, will be awarded the honorary degree of Doctor of Social Sciences by The University of Hong Kong on 14 March 2017, in recognition of his contributions to Hong Kong and higher education. Dr. Li is currently the Chairman of Roxy Property Investment Co Ltd and Chairman of the Carlton Hotel Group (Singapore).
