The Tsim Sha Tsui District KaiFong Welfare Association, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, hosted a dinner reception to celebrate the Lunar New Year at its hall on 9 February 2017. Officiating at the opening ceremony were Mr. So Chung Ping, MH, Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Association; Mr. Lam Cho Kwong, Chairman of the Supervisory Committee of the Association; Mr. Yiu Yu Hung, Vice-Chairman of the Executive Committee; Ms. Wang Xiaoling, Deputy Director General of the Kowloon Sub-office of the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the HKSAR; and Mrs. Laura Liang Aron, JP, District Officer (Yau Tsim Mong). The reception attracted over 600 guests. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, officiate at the ceremony on behalf of the University.
