The HKBU Foundation records with deepest sorrow the passing of Dr. Mok Man Hung, Sponsoring Member of the HKBU Foundation and former Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary of HKBU, on 4 December 2015. He was 72 years old.

Dr. Mok joined the then Hong Kong Baptist College in 1973. His contributions, especially his role in helping the College achieve university status, as well as the dedicated service he rendered to HKBU, gained widespread recognition throughout the University community. In addition, Dr. Mok made generous donations over the years in support of the University’s institutional advancement. In 2005, the “Dr. Mok Man Hung Scholarship” was set up with the support of the Baptist Chemists Fund in recognition of his contributions to the Department of Chemistry as well as the University.

The Foundation conveys its heartfelt condolences to the Mok family at this time of bereavement. Dr. Mok will always be remembered for his zealous support for the University’s development.
