Miss Chloe Suen (fifth from left in the left photo), Honorary Director of the HKBU Foundation and Chairperson of the Simon Suen Foundation, and Miss Money Lam (third from left in the left photo), Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation and Director of Sweater Garment (HK) Limited, serve as President and Executive Director respectively of the 1st Executive Committee of the Hong Kong New Youth Energy Think Tank. Founded by six enthusiastic young leaders, the organisation aims to provide advice on youth affairs in Hong Kong, helping the government and the commercial sector to formulate youth policies and measures.

The Inauguration Ceremony was held on 17 October 2015 and it was well attended by a number of honourable guests, including Dr. Simon Suen, JP, Mrs. Mary Suen and Ms. Elizabeth Law, MH, Honorary Permanent Presidents of the HKBU Foundation; Mrs. Susan So, BBS and Mr. Wong Ting Chung, BBS, JP, Honorary Presidents of the HKBU Foundation; Professor Albert S.C. Chan, JP, President Emeritus of HKBU and Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation, and Mrs. Mabel Chan; Mr. Chan King Cheung, BBS, Sponsoring Member of the HKBU Foundation, etc. Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement, attended the event on behalf of the University.
