Mr. Felix Lio, member of the Young Entrepreneur Committee of the Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) Foundation and Director of Teclent Venture Investment Limited, served as a panel judge at the “techstars_Startup Weekend Hong Kong for Social Good”. Organised by TriAngle of the Centre for Innovative Service-Learning at HKBU, this 54-hour hackathon ran from 21 to 23 March 2025, hosted both on campus and at Alibaba Hong Kong’s headquarters.

Over 40 participants formed 11 social enterprise teams. With Alibaba Cloud as the tech enabler, they leveraged new technologies like GenAI to develop innovative prototypes addressing societal needs. As a judge, Mr. Lio provided invaluable feedback to the participants, assisting them in refining their ideas.

The top three teams will advance to participate in the Alibaba Yunqi 2025 Conference in Hangzhou this September.
