Professor Sunny Wong: Alumni are vital assets to HKBU
2024 marked a significant milestone for the HKBU Foundation, as it celebrated its 15th anniversary. Since its establishment in 2009, the Foundation has been dedicated to securing the additional resources crucial for driving the University’s constant progress and innovation. As part of the celebrations, we are delighted to launch a series of exclusive interviews with our members, who offer deeper insights into the Foundation’s work.
In the series finale, Professor Sunny Wong, Chairman of the Alumni Committee of the HKBU Foundation, emphasises in this interview that alumni are vital assets to the University. With over 150,000 graduates scattered across the globe, their achievements stand as a strong testament to the University’s educational ethos, making HKBU’s unique values known worldwide. Professor Wong is deeply appreciative of the alumni’s immense support and care for their alma mater, as is demonstrated by their efforts to provide students with scholarships, mentorship, and internship opportunities. To uphold HKBU’s caring culture, the Alumni Committee will further strengthen its communication and interaction with alumni around the world, igniting passion and boosting momentum within the alumni network.
