The “HKBU • ASHWORTH Golf Day 2025” is scheduled for 28 November at the Eden Course of the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. For the sixth consecutive year, the event is generously sponsored by the Chan Yin Chuen Memorial Charitable Fund through the clothing brand ASHWORTH. As in previous years, ASHWORTH will again supply the golf shirts for the day. 

The event’s Organising Committee held its first meeting on 15 April 2025. Led by Committee Chairman Dr. Ronald Lu, key topics such as fundraising strategies, promotional plans, and preparatory work for the event were discussed. The Committee also warmly welcomed Mr. Andrew Chan, the new Vice-Chairman, to the team. 

The annual Golf Day aims to raise funds for the HKBU Foundation in support of the University’s strategic development, particularly in the areas of transdisciplinary research, funding students’ participation in the “Extended Study Programme” in the Greater Bay Area, and supporting overseas exchange activities and campus ministry.
