2024 marked a significant milestone for the HKBU Foundation, as it celebrated its 15th anniversary. Since its inception, the Foundation has served as a cornerstone of the University’s advancement, opening up numerous opportunities for both students and faculty. On this remarkable occasion, we are delighted to launch a series of exclusive interviews with our members, giving you a deeper understanding of the Foundation’s work and the impact of donations.
In this episode, Mr. Ivan Wong, JP, Co-Chairman of the Young Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, stresses the importance of students’ understanding of the latest developments and career opportunities on the Mainland, particularly as the ties between Hong Kong and the Nation continue to deepen. He highly commends HKBU for its timely launch of the Extended Study Programme in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). This provides students with real-world experience through a variety of internships and experiential learning activities throughout the GBA.
Mr. Wong also notes that the Young Entrepreneur Committee, composed of entrepreneurs and professionals from diverse sectors, is dedicated to broadening students’ horizons. The Committee readily shares its networks, expertise and resources to support student entrepreneurship and foster an entrepreneurial culture at HKBU.
