Dr. the Hon. Peter Lam Kin Ngok, GBM, GBS, donor of the University and Chairman of Lai Sun Group, was appointed by the HKSAR Government as Chairman of the Hong Kong Tourism Board for a term of three years. Meanwhile, Ms. Nikki Ng Mien Hua, Director of Philanthropy of Sino Group and Director of the Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation, was appointed as a new member. The Ng Teng Fong Charitable Foundation is currently Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation. Both appointments will take effect on 1 April 2025.
