The “HKBU Foundation 15th Anniversary · ASHWORTH Golf Day 2024” was successfully held on 8 November 2024 at the Eden Course of the Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling, raising a record-breaking HK$2.8 million. The proceeds will be used to support the University’s strategic development, especially in launching sports science research, funding students’ participation in the “Extended Study Programme” in the Greater Bay Area, and supporting overseas exchange activities.

The 2024 Organising Committee convened its third meeting on 20 January 2025 to review the event. Presided over by Committee Chairman Dr. Ronald Lu, the meeting also initiated preparations for the Golf Day 2025. Members expressed their excitement over the growing participation and support of corporate leaders, enabling the University to continuously extend its support base. As one of the signature fundraising and fellowship events of the University, the HKBU Golf Day has raised over HK$37.3 million since its inception in 2004.

This year’s Golf Day is scheduled for 28 November 2025 (Friday). More details will be announced in due course, please stay tuned.
