Pretty Heart, the first feature film presented by Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU), was screened at the Vail Film Festival last month. It was also one of the three Hong Kong movies that have been selected for screening at the cinematic extravaganza.

The film was made with a donation from HKS Education Fund Limited. It is adapted from a script from a screenplay competition organised by the HKBU Academy of Film, which features a storyline revolving around the trials and tribulations faced by Hong Kong students, which was meant to motivate those who are to sit for public exams.

The inspirational film was first screened in Hong Kong in 2022, followed by screenings in Asia and North America.
