The University received a further donation of HK$1 million from the Tan Siu Lin Foundation designated for the “Tan Siu Lin Foundation Perpetual Fund for Free Chinese Medicine Consultation Day” in support of the School of Chinese Medicine (SCM) in organising free Chinese medicine consultation days at Lui Seng Chun on a regular basis by subsidising Chinese medicine expenses for the underprivileged members of the community.

SCM has scheduled free Chinese medicine consultation days from January to June 2024 at Lui Seng Chun to provide free consultation and medication services. For details, please click here (Chinese version only).

The Tan Siu Lin Foundation is the Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation and a long-standing supporter of the University. Over the years, it has made generous contributions towards SCM’s development and the Department of History for its research related to Dr. Sun Yat-sen in particular.
