At the Annual General Meeting cum the 22nd Meeting of the Board of Directors 2024-25 of Lions & HKBU Chinese Medicine Charity Foundation (CMCF), held on 5 December 2023, members agreed unanimously that Ms. Christine Chow, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary of HKBU, will serve as Chairman of CMCF, and Dr. Lam Hoi Ham, JP, will serve as Vice-Chairman. At the meeting, Mr. Paulman Tse, Director of CMCF, introduced the new fundraising ambassador plan for the coming year and received great response. Ms. Teresa Mann, Director of CMCF, generously donated HK$100,000. Additionally, Mr. Billy Hung, Advisor of CMCF, pledged to make matching donations with a ratio of 2:1 based on the total amount raised (i.e. for every HK$2 donated, HK$1 will be matched), in the name of Hung Hin Shiu Charitable Foundation Limited. These generous contributions would help CMCF fulfill its mission to provide the necessary Chinese medicine services for the elderly and improve their quality of life.

Founded in 2007, CMCF has been Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation. Its mission is to serve the underprivileged elders with quality Chinese medicine and healthcare service at a low cost.
