With the support of the Kwok Chung Bo Fun Charitable Fund, HKBU Graduate School established the Madam Kwok Chung Bo Fun PhD Student Research Excellence Awards to give due recognition and rewards to the PhD students who have achieved excellence in their research. This year, seven students were presented with the Awards at the ceremony held on 5 October 2023. Mr. Raymond Kwok, representative of the Kwok Chung Bo Fun Charitable Fund, and Professor Alexander Wai, JP, President and Vice-Chancellor officiated at the Ceremony.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Kwok encouraged all PhD students to excel at their personal level, thereby making a more profound impact on society and contributing to the betterment of our community.

This year, the list of awardees includes:
