Professor the Hon. Moses M.C. Cheng, GBM, GBS, OBE, JP, Member of the Board of Governors and Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation, and two donors of the University, The Hon. Regina Ip Lau Suk Yee, GBM, GBS, JP, Legislative Council Member, and The Hon. Kenneth Lau Ip Keung, BBS, MH, JP, Chairman of New Territories Heung Yee Kuk and Legislative Council Member, were appointed by the Government as non-official members of the new-term Executive Council (ExCo). Mrs. Ip has been named Convenor of the new ExCo. These appointments took effect from 1 July 2022.
