The “HKBU．ASHWORTH Golf Day 2022” will be held on 4 November 2022 (Friday) at the Eden Course of The Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling. The event is presented by the Chan Yin Chuen Memorial Charitable Foundation in the name of the clothing brand ASHWORTH and ASHWORTH has generously agreed to sponsor the event golf shirts, as the previous year. 

Presided by its Co-Chairman Dr. Ronald Lu, the first meeting of the Organising Committee was convened on 22 April 2022. The meeting discussed the fundraising strategies, means of publicity and preparatory work for the event.

The annual HKBU Golf Day aims to raise funds for the HKBU Foundation in support of the University’s strategic development, particularly the six interdisciplinary research laboratories for expanding research strengths, Project SEED (Students Engagement, Enrichment & Development), and the provision of scholarships for the needy students who aspire to further their studies or participate in overseas exchange activities. The event also provides a valuable opportunity for supporters, staff and alumni of HKBU to meet old friends and make new acquaintances whilst golfing in a delightful and relaxing setting.
