The University recently received a generous donation of HK$250,000 from Mr. Tong Ka Ming to establish the “Mr. Tong Ka Ming & Ms. Liu Yuk Yin Scholarship”, which aims to recognise, encourage and assist students in their pursuit of academic excellence. Starting from the academic year 2022-23, the Scholarship will be awarded annually to a Year 2 or above full-time local student studying BSc (Hons) in Computer Science with outstanding academic performance. The scholarship recipient will receive a grant of HK$10,000.

A graduate of the University’s computer science programme, Mr. Tong is deeply committed to furthering the cause of his alma mater. As such, he has been making regular donations to support the University in nurturing talents.
