Representatives of Wu Jieh Yee Charitable Foundation Limited visited the University on 6 July 2021. The guests included Dr. Philip Wu, BBS, JP, Secretary of the Foundation, as well as Mr. Jason Wu, Mrs. Tansy Tom and Mr. Victor Chan, Governors of the Foundation. They met with Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor; Ms. Christine Chow, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, Associate Vice-President (Chinese Medicine Development); Dr. David Lai, Senior Consultant and Head of the Planning Office for Chinese Medicine Hospital; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, to exchange views on the University’s Chinese Medicine Hospital project. After the meeting, Dr. Clement Chen, GBS, JP, Chairman of the Council and the Court, hosted a lunch for the guests at Shiu Pong Hall in appreciation of the Foundation’s support for the University over the years.
