HKBU was selected by the Government as the contractor for the service deed of Hong Kong’s first Chinese Medicine Hospital (CMH). The CMH will be located at Pak Shing Kok in Tseung Kwan O. Its construction is expected to complete in 2025 with service to commence in the second quarter of the year.

Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKBU, said, “HKBU will further promote the standardisation and internationalisation of Chinese medicine through the application of technology and digitalisation. Based on our solid foundations, we will take Chinese medicine education, research and services to new heights, and combine strengths and advantages from different areas so that the CMH will play a key role as the ‘flagship’ and ‘change driver’ of Chinese medicine.”
