Three HKBU Foundation members and one donor were appointed Justices of the Peace by the HKSAR Government with effect from 1 July 2021. They are：

• Dr. Sunny Chai Ngai Chiu, BBS, JP
  Chairman of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, donor of the University
   
• Mr. Joe Chau Kwok Ming, JP
  Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation and Managing Director of REER Garment Manufactory Ltd. 
   
• Mr. Ivis Sze, JP
  Honorary University Fellow of HKBU, Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation and Managing Director of Hang Tung Resources Holding Ltd. 
   
• Mr. Ivan S.K. Wong, JP
  Co-Chairman of the Young Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation and Executive Director of Kum Shing Holdings Ltd.
