The Hong Kong United Youth Association hosted its 28th Anniversary cum Inauguration Ceremony at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre on 11 June 2021. A number of members of the HKBU Foundation’s Young Entrepreneur Committee were elected as board members of the Association: Mr. Kenneth Leung, JP is Executive Vice Chairman. Mr. Ivan Wong and Mr. Kevin Orr are Vice Chairmen. Mr. Felix Lio is Executive Vice Secretary-General. Ms. Candy Ngan is Executive Deputy Treasurer. Ms. Chloe Suen and Professor Calvin Tse are Executive Directors.

Mr. George Lau, Chairman of the Association, invited hundreds of dignitaries and honourable guests to the Ceremony. They included The Hon. Mrs. Carrie Lam, GBM, GBS, Chief Executive of the HKSAR; The Hon. Matthew Cheung, GBM, GBS, JP, Chief Secretary for Administration of the HKSAR; The Hon. Paul Chan, GBM, GBS, MH, JP, Financial Secretary of the HKSAR; Ms. Connie Wong, SBS, JP, Member of the Board of Governors and the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation; Ms. Eileen L. Tsui, BBS, JP, Member of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation; and  Mr. Wong Ting Chung, BBS, JP, Honorary President of the HKBU Foundation. Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching and Learning), and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation, attended the Ceremony on behalf of the University.
