Professor Alexander Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor, recently hosted a lunch for representatives of Wu Jieh Yee Charitable Foundation Limited, Honorary Trustee of the HKBU Foundation, in appreciation of the Foundation’s long-standing support for the University. The guests included Dr. Philip Wu, BBS, JP, Secretary of the Foundation, as well as Mr. Jason Wu, Mrs. Tansy Tom and Mrs. Monica Yuen, Governors of the Foundation. They were joined by Ms. Christine Chow, Vice-President (Administration) and Secretary; Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, Associate Vice-President (Chinese Medicine Development); Dr. David Lai, Senior Consultant and Head of the Planning Office for Chinese Medicine Hospital; and Mrs. Lily Chan, Director of University Advancement and Secretary-General of the HKBU Foundation. During the lunch, they exchanged views on the University’s latest developments and its Chinese Medicine Hospital project.
