Professor Liu Pak Wai, SBS, JP, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation, and Dr. Pamela Chan, BBS, JP, donor of the University, were re-appointed by the HKSAR Government as Members of the Judicial Officers Recommendation Commission for a term of two years with effect from 1 July 2020. Professor Liu is currently Research Professor of the Lau Chor Tak Institute of Global Economics and Finance and Emeritus Professor of Economics of The Chinese University of Hong Kong, while Dr. Chan is currently Independent Non-Executive Director of MTR Corporation Limited.
