Mr. Joe Chau Kwok Ming, Senior Member of the HKBU Foundation; Mr. Kwok Kwok Chuen, BBS, JP, and Mr. Michael Hui Wah Kit, MH, JP, donors of the University; as well as Ms. Sandy Wong Hang Yee, JP, a member of the Council and the Court of HKBU, were re-appointed as Members of the Competition Commission for a term of two years with effect from 1 May 2020.

Mr. Chau is currently Managing Director of REER Garment Manufactory Limited; Mr. Kwok is currently Honorary Senior Research Fellow of the School of Economics and Finance of The University of Hong Kong; Mr. Hui is currently Managing Director of Freedom Industrial Corporation Ltd; while Ms. Wong is currently Consultant of Liau, Ho & Chan Solicitors & Notaries.
