24 Stanford University ranked 60 HKBU scholars among the world’s top 2% of most-cited scientists in 2024. The ranking is based on the “Updated science-wide author databases of standardised citation indicators” in 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields. These are compiled and announced annually by a research team led by Stanford University’s Professor John P.A. Ioannidis. 60位浸大知名研究學者入選史丹福大學2024年公布的世界 前2%被引用次數最多的科學家名單。該排名由史丹福大學 John P.A. Ioannidis教授帶領的團隊統籌,依據學術文獻 引用次數等指標,評估各領域的學者於22個科學領域和 174個細項分類的研究成果。 The Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings 2025 showed HKBU making significant strides, rising to the 251-300 range, the University’s best performance since 2012. In the THE Impact Rankings 2024, HKBU rose to the 101-200th band and ranked 2nd globally for its “SDG 4: Quality Education”, underscoring its commitment to inclusive and equitable education. HKBU also made a stellar leap from 105th to 63rd place in the THE Asia University Rankings 2024. In the 2025 QS World University Rankings, HKBU made a leap of 43 places to 252nd, its best performance since 2013. 浸大在泰晤士高等教育公布的「2025世界大學排名」中顯著 上升至251-300位,是自2012年以來的最佳表現;在「2024 大學影響力排名」則升至101-200位,更在「SDG 4:優質 教育」一項高踞全球第二,反映浸大致力提供包容和公平的 優質教育;在「2024亞洲大學排名」則從第105位躍升至第 63位。在「2025 QS世界大學排名」中,浸大攀升43位至第 252位,是自2013年以來的最佳表現。 Outstanding Achievements 傑出成就 HKBU students Chan Ho Yuen, Cheung Ka Long, Lo Wai Fung, Ma Kwan Ching and alumna Ho Yuen Kei achieved an impressive tally of medals at the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, clinching three golds and one silver. Following the Games at a sharing session at HKBU, they recalled their inspiring journeys and gave valuable insights to fellow students. 浸大學生陳浩源、張家朗、盧蔚豐、馬君正,以及校友 何宛淇在2024年巴黎奧林匹克運動會及殘疾人奧林匹克 運動會奪得三金一銀,成績斐然。他們在浸大舉行的分享 會上憶述這段奇妙的奧運經歷,並為學生提供了不少真知 灼見。 Two of HKBU’s translational research projects have been awarded funding from the Research, Academic and Industry Sectors One-plus (RAISe+) Scheme under the HKSAR Government’s Innovation and Technology Commission. One of the projects, led by Professor Terence L.T. Lau, Interim Chief Innovation Officer of HKBU, focuses on a fully automated multiplexing molecular detection platform for disease diagnosis. The other project, led by Professor Bian Zhaoxiang, MH, Associate Vice-President (Clinical Chinese Medicine), focuses on a new Chinese herbal medicine for treating functional constipation in the elderly. 浸大兩個轉化研究項目獲香港特別行政區政府創新科技署的 「產學研1+計劃」(RAISe+計劃)資助,分別是由暫任首席 創新總監劉樂庭教授領導的疾病診斷全自動多重分子檢測 平台,以及由協理副校長(臨床中醫藥)卞兆祥教授,MH 領導的治療長者功能性便秘新中草藥項目。 HKBU Ranked 2nd Globally
