23 University’s Recent Developments 大學最新發展 With the support of the Bank of China (Hong Kong), HKBU and the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Welfare Council launched the four-year “BOC-HKBU Chinese Medicine Community Stroke Prevention and Rehabilitation Scheme”, which has provided more than 31,000 Chinese medicine treatments to elderly stroke patients and people at risk of stroke. Together with other service channels, including talks, a website and training sessions, the Scheme served a total of nearly 95,000 beneficiaries. 浸大及香港聖公會福利協會獲中國銀行(香港)支持,推行 為期四年的「中銀—浸大中醫社區中風預防及康復計劃」, 共為中風長者及中高風險人士提供超過3.1萬次的中醫中藥 治療服務,連同講座、網站和各項培訓等其他途徑,整項 計劃共有近9.5萬人次受惠。 Located at the Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre, the newly launched HKBU Art-Tech Incubation Hub CHRYSALIS serves as a unique platform that supports the transformation and application of HKBU’s art technology outputs to nurturing artistic innovation and creativity and injecting new impetus into the creative industry. The students produced six videos for the Kowloon City guided tours featuring the history and significance of major landmarks in the district and helping the public discover more information about Hong Kong’s historical sites. 浸大歷史系與本地深度遊機構「活現香港」合作,讓來自 不同學系共60名修讀「歷史地標、古蹟及社區」通識課程的 學生,製作六條「九龍城區導賞遊」影片,介紹九龍城區內 地標的歷史及意義,加深大眾對香港重要歷史地標的認識。 In order to empower individuals with intellectual disabilities and to promote greater inclusiveness, HKBU signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Hong Chi Association (HCA) to co-create learning initiatives for HCA service users and HKBU students.
