51 In Memoriam 永遠懷念 The HKBU Foundation records with deepest sorrow the passing of Dr. Joseph Fong Shi Piu, Honorary Vice-President of the HKBU Foundation, on 28 October 2023, at the age of 74. As a Christian educator with extensive experience at the City University of Hong Kong, Dr. Fong created new software, databases and e-learning tools to meet the needs of students. Dr. Fong together with his wife, Mrs. Christine Fong Wong Yuk Mun, attended services at Rev. James Mau Memorial Chapel of HKBU over a long period. Since 2009, they made a number of donations in support of the Chaplain’s Office, promoting the spiritual growth of the University’s community. He will always be remembered for his staunch support for the University. 香港浸會大學基金榮譽副主席方士驃博士於 2023 年 10 月 28 日安息主懷，享年 74 歲，基金同仁深表哀悼。 方博士為虔誠基督徒，於香港城市大學任教多年，曾開發新軟件、數據庫及電子教學工具，關懷學生的發展需要。方博士與 夫人方黃玉滿女士曾長期於浸大冒季美牧師紀念堂聚會，自 2009 年起不時捐獻支持校牧處的校園事工，關顧大學社群的靈命 成長。大學同仁定必銘記他對浸大的長期支持。 Dr. Joseph Fong 方士驃博士 The HKBU Foundation records with deepest sorrow the passing of Mr. Sui Chok Lee, Director of the HKBU Foundation, on 12 September 2023. Graduated from the Department of Communication of the then Hong Kong Baptist College, Mr. Sui dedicated his career to the media industry and held key positions in various publications. Caring for his alma mater, Mr. Sui served as President of the HKBU Alumni Association and made donations in support of the University’s development. He will always be remembered for his tremendous contributions to the University and society at large. 香港浸會大學基金會董蕭作利先生於 2023 年 9 月 12 日辭世，基金同仁深表哀悼。 蕭先生畢業於香港浸會學院傳理系，是資深傳媒工作者，曾於多間機構擔任重要崗位。他亦是香港浸會大學校友會前會長， 熱心服務母校，貢獻良多，又多次捐資支持浸大發展。大學同仁定必銘記他對浸大及社會所作出的寶貴貢獻。 Mr. Sui Chok Lee 蕭作利先生 The HKBU Foundation records with deepest sorrow the passing of Ir Dr. Peter K.K. Wong, GBS, JP, FHKEng, Honorary Doctor of Social Sciences of HKBU, Vice-Chairman of the Board of Governors and Co-Chairman of the Entrepreneur Committee of the HKBU Foundation, on 2 November 2023. Leaving a legacy of remarkable generosity and unwavering dedication to the advancement of education, Dr. Wong, Chairman of the Kum Shing Group, was a staunch supporter of the HKBU community. His association with HKBU spans over two decades, during which he and his family made substantial contributions to theUniversity. Since 2001, their generosity through the KumShingGroup and as Honorary Permanent President of the HKBU Foundation, has supported various initiatives, including the establishment of the Hong Kong Baptist University Affiliated School Wong Kam Fai Secondary and Primary School, the Kum Shing Group Scholarship Fund for Mainland Students, the HKBU Golf Day, and the overall institutional advancement of the University. His commitment to HKBU extended far beyond financial contributions. Dr. Wong actively served in numerous vital roles within the HKBU community, where his wisdom and guidance influenced the University’s strategic direction. He will always be remembered for his enduring impact on the University, Hong Kong and the country at large. 香港浸會大學 2010 年榮譽社會科學博士、香港浸會大學基金董事局副主席、企業家委員會聯席主席王國強博士工程師，  GBS ， JP ， FHKEng 於 2023 年 11 月 2 日辭世， 基金同仁深表哀悼。 王博士為金城營造集團主席，長袖善舞，馳騁商界，一生熱心公益，為香港作育英才，建樹良多，與浸大的淵源更逾 20 年， 長期襄助本校發展。自 2001 年起，他與家人透過金城營造集團慷慨捐助大學各領域之發展，包括設立香港浸會大學附屬學校 王錦輝中小學、金城營造集團優秀內地生獎學金，對浸大高爾夫球日及大學整體發展尤其給予鼎力支持。金城營造集團亦是  香港浸會大學基金永遠榮譽主席。 王博士出任大學及香港浸會大學基金的多項要職，對浸大的關愛遠超於經濟上的捐助，長期以其豐富的經驗為大學出謀獻策， 奠定大學策略發展方向。大學同仁定必銘記他對浸大、香港以至國家的超卓貢獻。 Ir Dr. Peter K.K.
