34 " Making breakthroughs in tradition and through innovation is the best way to describe the work of HKBU in Chinese medicine. The University has dedicated itself to promoting the standardisation, modernisation and scientific development of Chinese medicine in order to advance it into the international arena. Apart from nurturing drug discovery talents who can integrate traditional Chinese medicine and modern technology, the University makes full use of cutting-edge technologies to conduct innovative research in Chinese medicine.
